Mrs. Longworth (Roosevelt's daughter) and Mrs. McCormick visited Teddy Roosevelt in Chicago's Mercy Hospital on 15 October 1912 after he was shot according to this New York Time article:

Mrs. Joseph Medill McCormick, a.k.a. Ruth Hanna (1880 - 1944), Elected as a Republican to the 71st. U. S. Congress
(4 Mar 1929 - 3 Mar 1931) from Illinois.
Also, in 1930 she received the Republican nomination for United States Senate from Illinois, but lost.

Former President Theodore Roosevelt was being treated in the hospital in Chicago after being shot in Milwaukee by John Schrank (of New York City) in a botched assassination attempt, October 1912. (Roosevelt, who had been in Milwaukee to deliver a campaign sppech, was a candidate for the Presidency that year, on the Progressive Party ticket.) Jane Addams of Chicago, a friend of TR's and an organizer of the Progressive Party, visited the convalescing ex-President in the hospital. Jane Addams (September 6, 1860 – May 21, 1935) was the first American woman to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. In a long, complex career, she was a pioneer settlement worker and founder of Hull House in Chicago, public philosopher (the first American woman in that role), sociologist, author, and leader in woman suffrage and world peace. She was the most prominent woman of the Progressive Era and helped turn the nation to issues of concern to mothers, such as the needs of children, public health and world peace. She emphasized that women have a special responsibility to clean up their communities and make them better places to live, arguing they needed the vote to be effective. Addams became a role model for middle-class women who volunteered to uplift their communities. This is very interesting. Theodore Roosevelt was shot by an assassin on 14 October 1910 in Milwaukee for which he was treated in Chicago's Mercy Hospital. A famous incident obviously. Perhpas this is indicating the rooms in which he stayed at the hospital.
