Suffragist and social economist M. Edith Campbell was elected to the Board of Education in Cincinnati in 1911, with the endorsement of President Taft himself. Her 1910 essay "Employment Bureaus for Women" can be found on Google Books, in a collection called The Economic Position of Women See Betty B. Ames, "Mary Edith Campbell: Cincinnati's First Woman Citizen," Bulletin of the Historical and Philosophical Society of Ohio 21(April 1963): 133-138.

Why should the Library of Congress pay someone to do research when it can be crowdsourced for free, that is the whole idea of posting here. The Society for American Baseball Research did extensive research for the baseball related ones, but the LOC doesn't seem to do the research unless the image is used on it's own website for another project..
