Found this information about Jessie traill in the Australian Dictionary of biography. There is more information: Jessie Traill TRAILL, JESSIE CONSTANCE ALICIA (1881-1967), artist, was born on 29 July 1881 at Brighton, Victoria, youngest of four daughters of George Hamilton Traill, a banker from Scotland, and his Tasmanian wife Jessie Frances Montague, née Neilley. She was educated privately and in Switzerland, her two lifetime occupations—art and travel—being fostered at an early age. Tom Roberts encouraged her to paint and remained a friend and mentor for much of her career. Inheriting sufficient income to ensure her independence, in 1900 Jessie enrolled in John Mather's Austral Art School, Melbourne. She was one of the first women to practise etching in Australia; by 1905 her work was exhibited alongside that of Mather and John Shirlow.

A wedding in which very great interest was evinced was celebrated in the Presbyterian Church, Springsure, recently. The contracting parties were Clarence, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Wieling and Nancy, fourth daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. McLaughlin. The parents of both bride and bridegroom have lived for upwards of 50 years in the district and the bride and bridegroom are both natives of Springsure. The church was beautifully decorated by girl friends of the bride in pink and blue flowers and streamers . A conspicuous feature was a large wedding bell made by Mrs. Fred Smith. The bride entered the church with her eldest brother. Mr. W. D. McLaughin, who gave her away in the absence, through illness, of her father. She wore a dress of ivory mariette over white silk. The soft cross over bodice was daintily beaded with silver beads and touches of pale pink pearls and rhinestones. The beaded panels at the side of the skirt formed an uneven hemline. The waistline was encircled with diamonte trimmings and sprays of orange blossom and a large brilliant buckle on the side were the finishing touches. A beautiful silk tulle veil, scalloped and embroidered, was worn draped across the forehead with a spray orange blossom and caught at the back of the head with a diamante spray. She carried a shower bouquet of spirea, white roses and Eucharist lilies finished with white and pink streamers to which were attached while satin horseshoes. The bride was attended by her sister, Dolly, as bridesmaid, whose frock was of pale pink mariette pintucked transversely. The skirt was finished with drapings showing touches of blue and forming an uneven hemline. Pale blue and pale pink flowers encircled the waist line. She wore a bandeau of pale pink tulle finished with a large bow and ends and carried a bouquet of pale pink roses and asparagus. Little Miss Joan Foot (cousin of the bride- groom), who attended as flower girl, wore a frock of pale blue crepe de chine with a plain bodice and skirt composed of three frills finished with touches of pink. She carried a basket of dianthus. The bridegroom was attended by his brother. Mr. A. V. Wieling, as best man. Miss Myrtle Hofmeister presided at the organ and Miss Gloria Smith played the violin. During the signing of the register Mrs. Bell rendered a solo. After the ceremony Mrs. McLaughlin entertained the guests at the Oddfellow's Hall. She wore an old gold marocain frock relieved with saxe and carried a bouquet of cream roses. The bridegroom's mother wore a frock of black mariette with panels of French pleating; she carried a bouquet of lavender stocks. An outstanding and much admired three-tiered wedding cake adorned by the table; this was made and decorated by the bridesmaid. Subsequently Mr. and Mrs. Wieting left by car for Emerald, en route to Brisbane and Tambourine Mountain. The bride's travelling frock was of rose biege velvet, French pleated and pin tucked, with a biege hat of satin ribbon and velvet flowers to tone. The Brisbane Courier reported this wedding thus: DRYNAN-FLANAGAN. At St. Stephen's Cathedral on August 7, the marriage was solemnised of Mr. Andrew John (Drew) Drynan (eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. James Drynan, Beaudesert) and Miss Marie Flanagan (second daughter of Mrs. Flanagan and the late Mr. Andrew Flanagan, Forest Home, Rathdowney). Rev. Father Hennessey performed the ceremony, assisted by the Rev. Father Steele (Yeronga). The bride, who was given away by her uncle (Mr. Frank. Egan), was in a silver lace and georgette frock made with wide side drapes, and an uneven hem line with a diamente ornament at the side. Her pale pink tulle veil was arranged in cap fashion with a coronet of orange blossoms and silver lace. She also carried a showy bouquet of white roses and sweet peas. The bride was attended by two bridesmaids, Miss Kitty Flanagan (sister) and. Miss Ena Drynan (sister of the bridegroom). They wore frocks of pale blue, and pale pink net, respectively. The tucked bodices were attached to skirts adorned with handkerchief and peacock drapes mounted on silver lace, and finished with soft taffetas bows. They wore blue and pink crinoline hats faced with tulle and trimmed with bows of silver rib- bon. They also carried bouquets ol pale pink and blue flowers. Mr. Jim Drynan (brother of bridegroom) was best man, and Mr. Jack Enright was groomsman. Miss Kitty Slack presided at the organ. The guests were enter tained at the Jenolan Cafe by Mrs. Flanagan, who wore a costume of black mariette with an overrskirt of block silk lace. She also wore a black hat with touches of pink, and carried a bouquet of red and pink shaded roses. The bridegroom's mother was frocked in a semi-ensemble of honey coloured mariette with a front panel of satin beauté, and a hat en suite. She carried an autumn tinted posy. After the recep tion the bride and bridegroom left on their honeymoon, which will be spent on a motor tour of the Northern Rivers. Mrs. Drynan wore a travelling frock of fawn Marocain showing hand embroideries, with a Visca straw hat in a lemon shade. nla.gov.au/nla.news-article21440802
