Thanks for the information. It looks (after some rotating and flipping) as though the date on the negative is July 3, 1913. Mrs. Longstreet was apparently in the news just then over an interpretation of Civil War history: in the context of a Battle of Gettysburg commemoration, she quoted Gen. Sickles as saying that the famed charge at Gettysburg was Gen. Longstreet's, not Pickett's, though she noted that Longstreet was not in favor of the charge (NYT Archive: http://query.nytimes.com/gst/abstract.html?res=9801E0DD153FE633A25757C0A9619C946296D6CF).
