The ship was built in 1922 and was 4086 grt. Owned by the Thompson Steam Shipping Co and sunk 1 April 1942 by U 160 in the North Atlantic. The ship was unusual, having corrugated sides but these are not apparent in the photo.

This is a joy to look at and admire ANMM, all the wonderful detail coupled with the technological advancements of the age ranging from the rotating bridge, the steam and sailing ships, the train, the wagon pulled by horses waiting patiently, this is magnificent.
