Interesting mix: fancy 3 storey terrace, then further along a "modern" (at the time) row of two-up two down terrace houses, and beyond those some thatched cottages.

I saw this reversish view in the archive L_ROY_06900 when searching on Enniskillen which is titled "Brook", and Google found the area.

Walter was a real gentleman. Yep, that is taken from Portora and there in the lower foreground is the open air swimming pool, scene of manys a freezing cold swimming experience.

National Library of Ireland on The Commons I went to school with his son, David. So I did not really know him that well, just as a really friendly Dad of my friend. I remember seeing some of his photos years ago and would be keen to see more. As far as I recall he was a great man for the slides and had hundreds, if not thousands.
