Mrs. Bacon was chairman of the American Ambulance Committee, which had charge of the Tea Garden at the International Flower Show in New York on April 6, 1916. Mrs. Vanderbilt was a member of the committee. The hallway background is the same as in some other Bain photos from the Flower Show that year.

NYT of November 29, 1899 reports on their wedding: "FRED. O. BEACH'S BRIDE; Mrs. Charles F. Havemeyer Married to the Popular Clubman. CEREMONY AT GRACE CHURCH.
