Australian National Maritime Museum on The Commons Thank you ANMM. You may have solved a mystery for me with this image. I have been trying to locate the Marine Ambulance station that operated on West Circular Quay from c.1907 to c.1917, manned by my g. grandfather Andrew Kenneth Brown. At the very bottom of this image you can see the word "Ambulance" and a cross. I think this may be the place described in this article: nla.gov.au/nla.news-article229352752

[https://www.flickr.com/photos/51979177@N02] Hi Quasymody, your comments and Pelle The Poets' comments have been very helpful in allowing me to locate this image of what seems to be the Marine Ambulance Station in the bottom of this image. Thank you.

Thanks for your interest. It's a bit addictive. Also, thanks for reading the article about my grandfather, it contains the only known photograph of him and I discovered it on Trove after a previous correcter had fixed up where his name had been "munged". Nothing like crowdsourcing, the ultimate brains trust.
