Bunkley Jr. was Dean of the Law School at the University of Mississippi, a younger brother Allison Bunkley was a professor of history at Princeton in his early 20’s, the youngest professor at the time and author of a seminal book on Sarmiento www.jstor.org/pss/2509494. (Also see: the Allison Bunkley Memorial Scholarship at Princeton), and he had another son at age 68 in 1955, Brit Bunkley, an artist and professor now living in New Zealand www.britbunkley.com
