Assuming the date (7 May 1914) is correct, this photograph was taken at the Baker Bowl in Philadelphia, where the Robins (as the Brooklyn team was called then) beat the Phillies, 6-5. Aitchison was the starting pitcher for Brooklyn (see retrosheet.org and baseball-reference.com)

mbouchard58 Looks like the photo was dated sometime after it was actually taken. Given the outfield configuration, background, wall, and signage (Hunter Whiskey, New York Central System, Ajax Tires, Schweppes, White Rose, etc.), I believe this is actually the Polo Grounds.

yeah, it's identical to the signage in www.flickr.com/photos/library_of_congress/5209397538/ which shows the Polo Grounds on opening day of the 1914 season (a Yankees/Athletics) game. Brooklyn had played the New York Giants in the Polo Grounds on May 2, 4 and 6. www.retrosheet.org/boxesetc/1914/PKL_NYC141914.htm Aitchison is wearing Brooklyn's road grays in the picture, so this must be from that series.

"Edith White Bolling Galt Wilson (October 15, 1872 — December 28, 1961), second wife of U.S. President Woodrow Wilson, was First Lady of the United States from 1915 to 1921. She has been labeled "the Secret President" and "the first woman to run the government" for the role she played after her husband suffered a severe stroke in October 1919. She has also been called "the first female president of the United States."
