A misspelling of Raynor? Other Bain/LOC photos related to this one (both posted to Flickr on 5/13/2011):

Wystan Good call, Wystan! This would appear to be Florence Raynor, a witness in the Carman Case. I also suspect this and the other adjacent Bain photos of Burnell and Dr. Runcie were taken at the Old Nassau County Courthouse (then the relatively "new" Nassau County Courthouse, built about 13 years earlier). query.nytimes.com/gst/abstract.html?res=F10913FE3F5412738...
