Haldane was a bachelor according to the Wikipedia article. And the negative has "Miss Haldane" written on it. And so it seems unlikely that she should be called "Viscountess Haldane." I'd suggest this might be his sister, Elizabeth. See en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elizabeth_Haldane. NYT of August 31, 1913 query.nytimes.com/gst/abstract.html?res=9D07E6DC123FE633A... confirms that she accompanied him on this visit to the United States.

Viscount Haldane and General Townsley are leaving the old Hayes Gym. However it did not gain the name "Hayes Gym" until named in honor of Captain Thomas Jay Hayes, IV; killed in action 17 April, 1968. Here's a photo of the whole building.
