    Note attached to verso reads "Tank and Armoured Cars Imposing Force at Raid on a Factory / A large force of military and police took part in the riad [raid] on the premises of a firm of window blind manufacturers in Aungier Street, Dublin. There were two companies of soldiers and three military motor lorries. Seven men were arrested. A large number of rifles and grenades and a quantity of ammunition are stated to have been found. PHOTO:- Some of the prisoners being taken away in motor lorries.".

    "THE DUBLIN RAIDS.
    Crowds Cheer Prisoners. A " Stay-at-Home" Order.
    LONDON", 22nd February.

    One hundred police and fully armed soldiers were employed in the raid in Aungier-strcet, Dublin, upon a window blind factory. In addition a tank, motor lorries and two armored cars were engaged, from the turrets of which machine guns were turned on to the crowd watching the operations. Soldiers with fixed bayonets lined the streets, while the police tore up all the flooring of the factory. After two hours' search they brought out two brothers of McGrath, the civilian who was wounded in the Westmoreland-street raid. The crowd gave the prisoners a thunderous cheer, and hissed the soldiers and police. Soldiers are guarding Mercers Hospital, where the other McGrath is lying. The Dublin army authorities have ordered that after 23rd inst. all persons shall remain within doors between midnight and 5 a.m. except nurses, clergy and doctors provided with passes. Other persons will be liable to be challenged, and if thev disobey, they do so at their own peril. The authorities believe that Saturday's arrests will have the effect of dispersing a secret society which has been responsible for many recent crimes."
