This looks like the Poughkeepsie Bridge and the Hudson river.

Hi, I'm an admin for a group called Hudson Valley, and we'd love to have this added to the group!

The University of Washington 'Varsity 8 training for the annual Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championship Regatta, at Poughkeepsie, NY, on June 21, 1913. The Washington crew were 1913 champions of the Pacific coast, and their entry into the blue ribbon event made the regatta of national interest. The Washington 'Varsity 8 came from behind, and took third place in the bid for the Varsity Challenge Cup. —The Youngstown (Ohio) Vindicator,   New York Times The UW Varsity crew for the 1913 Poughkeepsie race was: #1 Bow Captain Ed Taylor;  #2 Ed Leader  #3 Elmer Leader;  #4 George Hutton; #5 Max Walske;  #6 Wilson Lee;  #7 A.C. content.lib.washington.edu/cdm4/item_viewer.php?CISOROOT=... could be the same crew. If so, the men would be: "U of W Crew 1914. Back row, 2d from left - Rusty Callow. 1914. Bow - Brokaw; 2 - Kumm, 3 - Rose, 4 - Shumacher, 5 - Walski, 6 - Catlin, 7 - Callow, Stroke - Frankland, Cox - Dunbar."

More pictures of the 1914 Huskies at www.huskycrew.com/1910.htm which has sections by year for a decade.

Thanks so much swanq for finding such great images of the Univ. of Wash. crew team in 1914. What's throwing me however, is the location of this shot. 2FunAdGuyz is selling a poster showing a crew team lifting their shell out of or into the water at what appears to be the same location as this Bain image. www.the2funadguyz.com/unwi19rocrpo.html They label the team, perhaps incorrectly, Univ. of Wisconsin varsity rowing team, on the Hudson River near Poughkeepsie. Not to say that the team shown isn't the 1914 Washington Huskies, but all I can nail down for sure is the bridge.
