There's a similar photo by John Henry Harvey at the State Library of Victoria, but that's likely to be closer to 1910 in my opinion - www.slv.vic.gov.au/pictoria/gid/slv-pic-aab66470 - There are also some colour photos from 1912 documenting the demolition progress in The Rocks (no idea what collection they're from, they're uncredited in The Rocks by J. Coleman, but likely to be in the Mitchell Library). One shows some kids sitting on the grass embankment at the left.
