Some of the tallest rice terraces in the world, probably at Batad, Philippines

Correction please. Batad is a barangay in the municipality of Banaue, province of Ifugao in the highlands of north Luzon and not in the Visayas. Thank you. [ barangay is the smallest geographical and political unit in the Philippines. ]

Hi - The information we have for the image continues with: The mountainous rice terraces of Banaue and vicinity in the Philippines are mankind's grandest scaled engineering feat. The vertical distance between bottom and top rows exceeds the height of the world's tallest building. I didn't see a mention of Visayas.

University of Washington Libraries Digital Collections My apologies I didn't specify my comment. It's geotagged in the Visayas.
