When the current is switched on the throb of the compressors, the quick, sharp chatter of the drill, the hiss of the escaping air indicate that construction has begun, and after a century of waiting Sydney and North Sydney are now being joined with steel and stone.

I got arrested last time I tried to roller skate across the bridge. :(

The lead carriage is C3426, and has been restored in operational condition.
