Buck Jones (born Charles Gebhart) was movie cowboy (after being a real cowboy) in the 20s and 30s. He later died in the infamous Cocoanut Grove fire of 1942.

Wife has a name and some fame in her own right: Odille "Del" Osborne Jones as a trick rider and stuntwoman.

Note: in this case the stuffed dog has a collar reading "RMS Berengaria". Could these recurring puppies come from various ships' souvenir shops?

B-59 I have to question the "goddaughter" part. Edna Hopper (the "eternal flapper") was very well known for looking younger than her claimed age to the point that where many women claimed to be younger, she likely claimed to be older. She was proud of her face lift surgery (and had it filmed) and promoted a line of eternal youth beauty products. Ellis Island records show that EWH arrived on the Homeric that year, and no Hoppers at all on the Paris. Maybe just a look-a-like?
