Why does violinist Fritz Kreisler have a pierrot doll in this picture? Could it be because, in early 1924, he arranged and recorded Tanzlied des Pierrot (Pierrot's Dance Song) from the opera "Die Tote Stadt" (The Dead City) by E.W. Korngold? We have seen the French bedroom dolls previously as well as the popular stuffed dog before. A larger stuffed dog:

I found two women with the name "Teddy King" one from Pennsylvania and one from Tennessee. I will look for the 1926 ship manifest to see which one is in the picture. Not to be confused with: Alta King (1899-1981), American dancer www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q66717794 Alta King was also a Ziegfeld Follies girl and the same age.

Richard Norton I think Teddy King was the stage name. Ellis Island shows a 35 year old Annie Wells (born in Scotland) arriving on the Cameronia.

I also have her as both Annie Wells (crossed out) and Teddy King (written above) in 1929, but the ship manifest has her born in Fayetteville, Pennsylvania and single. See: commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Teddy_King_aboard_the_SS_... I see that 1926 Annie Wells but she is married and with a 4 year old. Married to Henry Wells of Manhattan. Unlikely to be returning from Paris where she wanted to dance the Charleston.
