    The large building in the top left corner with the arches is certainly All Hallows School in Ivory Street. I fear most of the other buildings have been demolished.

    The bridge has had various names, including Brisbane River Bridge, Kangaroo Point Bridge, King George V Silver Jubilee Bridge, King George V Memorial Bridge (after the king’s death) or simply Jubilee Bridge. However, when it was opened on 6 July 1940 by Sir Leslie Orme Wilson, Governor of Queensland it was named Story Bridge in honor of John Douglas Story, the Public Service Commissioner and member of the Bridge Board.
