  Lloyds Bank was among the first property owners to clean their stone facade. Lower down there's another clean premises - possibly the old Bank of England building? No parking meters or significant parking restrictions at that time, but double parking must have hastened the day when controls became much stricter.,

  I think this is in Hillcrest, San Diego, on 5th Avenue at Anderson Place - where the Atlas Apartments are now. The building at the left is still there.
