Rear of San José de Gracia convent and church and La Soledad Church from Orizaba River, aproximately from where today there's a bridge over the river and continues Avenida Poniente 3. The bell towers seen on the left middle ground are those of La Soledad Church (first Franciscan church in Orizaba, 1739-1742 and third Catholic temple in Orizaba, which first name was Santuario de Nuestro Señor de Otatitlán). The photo was aproximately taken from the site where Orizaba City Hall today is found in the north edge of Orizaba River. Según cédula del rey Carlos IV de España del 17 de Septiembre de 1797 y siguiendo los planos trazados por el arquitecto valenciano D.
