    Andrew B. has suggested that this could be the access road for the Dartmouth city dump and incinerator, looking towards Crichton Avenue (approximately where Crichton and Lyngby meet today), and that the house seen in the photo could be 238 Crichton Ave.

    Shirley Bergeron Thanks for the suggestion. It doesn't seem like there's enough of a hill behind the houses here for it to be Shore Rd, as well as the fact that there is no road between the tracks and the houses. Perhaps the houses were further south along the train tracks?
