This might be in the vicinity of Woodlawn Road near Portland Street.

Michael Dennis Hi Michael, any chance you can help me narrow it down a bit? Thanks!

Identified! 238 Crichton Avenue, at Crichton and Lyngby

Andrew B. has suggested that this could be the access road for the Dartmouth city dump and incinerator, looking towards Crichton Avenue (approximately where Crichton and Lyngby meet today), and that the house seen in the photo could be 238 Crichton Ave.

I just happened to read an article about Up The Lane today and this house is discussed! Photo included: www.halifaxpubliclibraries.ca/blogs/post/where-i-belong-t...

Taylor MacIntosh Thank you for the link and the help in confirming the identification! We have updated the information here and in our database.

    Foundations for 13, 15, 17 visible

Michael Dennis Hi Michael, can you point to some details that help you identify this as Dunrobin Drive?
  • Michael Dennis said:
This is similar view to the other Dunrobin Drive picture, but with the camera moved to the right. The same car is visible in the driveway. As mentioned in the other one, the one with the transverse peaked roof is number 9 on the left, with number 11 to the right, so the foundations would be 13, 15, and 17.

Thanks Michael Dennis, it all jives now.
