A New York Times report on the America vs. England polo match, held at Meadow Brook, near Hempstead, Long Island, on June 14, tells us that the Goadby Loew girls all wore white on that occasion also.

The girls are, left to right, Florence (1901), Evelyn (1903) and Barbara (1899). The youngest Winifred was born in 1909, so I assume would have been too young to attend.

Mrs. Stokes' husband, Walter C. Stokes, was a New York stockbroker; Mrs. Schiff's husband was Mortimer L. Schiff (1877-1931), a banker active in the Boy Scouts of America. Same location, same day (you can see Mrs. Billings and Mrs. Johnson on the left, in the same hats as this photo):

@Pony Meredith: Your photo appears to show the same venue, but on a different date. This photo was taken on 7/10/13; yours is dated a month earlier, 6-9-13.
