  13 French Aviation Corps officers came to the U.S. in late June, 1917, to assist with training at American aviation schools. They visited the army aviation training field at Mineola, Long Island on June 20, 1917, where this was probably taken. They visited the training camp at Plattsburg, N.Y. on June 25, 1917. Pictured are then-Captain Shepler W.
