Definitely at Sheepshead Bay Speedway. See, for example,

According to www.champcarstats.com/races/191610.htm Ken Rawlings (notice 'g') [www.driverdb.com/drivers/ken-rawlings/] was listed as a starter in the Astor Cup at Sheepshead Bay Speedway on September 30, 1916.

Thanks swanq. We'll add some of your new information to the description next time we update.

Thank you, B, we'll add correct name here and there.

Clearly taken on same occasion as www.corbisimages.com/stock-photo/rights-managed/U59670INP... There it's given a date of June 1, 1917. But historicalzg.piwigo.com/index?/category/35-1917_actor_s_f... gives the date of the event at the Sheepshead Bay race course as June 23, 1917.

It's the second date, see comment at

Thanks Art Siegel for clarifying the date of the event. We'll add the information to both records next time we update.

Yeah, but what model car is it? \

Some options at www.earlyamericanautomobiles.com/1915.htm Clearly a "Touring" model. Fageol and Revere seem possible manufacturers. But www.earlyamericanautomobiles.com/1914.htm offers several more options.
