Clearly taken on same occasion as www.corbisimages.com/stock-photo/rights-managed/U59670INP... There it's given a date of June 1, 1917. But historicalzg.piwigo.com/index?/category/35-1917_actor_s_f... gives the date of the event at the Sheepshead Bay race course as June 23, 1917.
