    I seem to recall an Irish patriot, maybe one of the Young Irelanders who escaped Van Diemen's Land, relocated then later passed away in California, back in 1924, but I am not 100% sure.

    I made the same mistake.... I saw 1912 and thought "no way". Then I read on and saw that it was a 1912 chassis with a 1936 body. A great photo.
