As if seeing Grant's tomb were not excitement enough, the Admiral also enjoyed a luncheon with Grant's son, General Frederick Dent Grant, at his HQ on Governor's Island. It is interesting that the picture is so clear while the men are in motion. Cameras usually required their subjects to be still when a picture was taken. It is also good to see that the Chinese where willing to serve in the United States armed services.
