    Selma Kraus Lewisohn and Viola Kraus were sisters. In 1920 they were both interviewed in connection with the still-unsolved murder of Joseph Bown Elwell (Elwell had dined with the women and others the night before his body was discovered, shot by a missing gun, in a room locked from the inside).

    These parts are for Douglas C-47 (or "Dakota") cargo planes. The "innerwing" is called the "center wing" or the "wing and nacelle assembly - complete" in the Parts List for this plane. The women are inspecting the upper surfaces of the starboard nacelles.
