The Ruttan Farm - April 2012

This is looking east at the back of the house with the old milkhouse to the right. The kitchen-dining room cot was below the window on the left side of the house. The door on the left of the house led to the back bedroom. The two windows up top are the large back bedroom. Circa year 2000 I think.

That photo was taken on Tuesday 27 Aug 1996. It was done with a Pentax SP1000 film camera. I was with my son and daughter, as well as a brother and his wife. The pic was number 16-Roll 212. Sorry - do not know where the 2012 date came from.

Cloyne: Flickr Flinton Continuing School picture From Brian Keeling: In the back row from the right side; the third person to the left is Burma Thompson who married John Burton Ruttan - son of Charles Hamilton Scott Ruttan and Catherine Carscallon Abbott. Burma was born 14 Jan 1921. She has the long beige coat on and the woman to her right (left in the picture) has her arm through Burma's arm.

I should have added that Burma Lorraine Thompson is a daughter of Charles Amos Thompson and Margaret Vealey. They lived on what is the Hartin Road; south of the Glastonbury corners.
