    I've become addicted to trying to bring back the original vibrancy of these images. My first test is here: www.flickr.com/photos/alec_fredericks/2198620547/ By adjusting the color balance, contrast and levels, I think I've found a way to bring back the natural colors and facial details ravaged by time.

    I am thinking the white field workers I have seen don't look so happy either... unless they were posed. Working for the rich (with no vested rights in property) is humiliating and dehumanizing.
