  It must have been very thirsty work - judging by the shadows it looks like midday on a bright, hot day - and just look at the workers in their heavy clothes!

  It was actually called Shellharbour until 1981 then known as Dunmore (Shellharbour) until it closed.

  When I was young 1960' I. Was told of convicts loading lime from burnt shell from the brake water and coal was pushed along rail to waiting ships again poor convicts
