    This is the Strathaird of 1932 or the Strathnaver (1931), P&O sisters built for the England-Australia service and on it except for WW2 duties until their scrapping in Hong Kong in 1961. Checking the bow at max resolution, it looks more like the former name!

    I have an original watercolour painting of RMS Orvieto that has been in the family a long time, and have taken an interest in her for years. Always keen to find more photos of her! They don't build ships like this any more.
