Appears to have all its wartime modifications, the larger bridge structure the most obvious. On its post war first visit to New Zealand I'd say.

Trainiac I think you are right, HMS NEW ZEALAND spent some time in Sydney in mid-1919 during a world tour, and that is probably the time that this image was taken.

beachcomber australia Hi Beachcomber - when the images were donated by his family they were very well catalogued & came with notes on dates, ships and places etc. Wilkinson was probably so meticulous in recording these details as he sold many of his photographs for reproduction as souvenir postcards. Either way it was very considerate of him for future curators and archivists!
