Arlie Mucks, competing for the University of Wisconsin, won the same event in the Senior Championship the next day (145' 4 1/2".) Mucks also won the Shot Put (47' 2 1/2")

At age 32, Frank Aloysius Mullen represented the USA at the 1920 Olympics in Antwerp. Mullen was born August 9, 1887 and died September 27, 1945. In this image, Mullen is diving from the platform of the New York Athletic Club summer home, Travers Island, Pelham Manor, New York.
