    I just spent 20 minutes scanning Skyline Drive on Google Maps and there are no obvious farms. Unfortunately the resolution of the Google Maps imagery is very low - there were a couple areas that looked interesting but they were blurry blobs close-in.

    I live at the northern end of the Skyline Drive. This photo appears to be an aerial view. Without specialized lenses, you could not get this type of photo from the drive overlooks. in fact, several of the photos in the collection appear to be of surrounding roads, not the Drive itself.
