It's a "Machicolation" rather than majiculation, if anyone else was trying to find out what it was... (Google was no help on this one.)

Looks like two Austin cars in the picture: an Austin A40 Devon (1947-52) on the right and a pre-war Austin Seven, which I think is a Long saloon of 1932-4, on the left.

Is that man sitting on a suitcase, having missed the boat? If you view the largest size, there's some writing on the lifering (is that the proper term), that seems to end in "HAL". So, sould be Youghal. Maybe I'm imagining it.

That is a fabulous image. Looks like grass growing up through the boards, which would suggest that its not used a lot? Wherever it is, I love it.

That's a very distinctive church steeple, but I don't recognize it.

Warren Fleury on Broadsheet.ie says it's "Looking across at Monkstown, Co. Cork from Verlome Dockyard, Carrigaloe." A quick look on Google Street View shows up the distinctive steeple, so I'd say Warren has the right of it.
