I'd say there was many a good story told in that group? That looks like a big spanner - the one in his hand not the man himself!!!! If he turns too quickly the man on the left will let him know what he thinks of him when he gets his breath back (if ever)!

Joefuz, it has been for many years. At one time it was a national hub with the Royal Canal having a spur and basin nearby. Barges, buses and trains all operating from there and so close to the city centre must have made it a hive of activity. There was a repair depot attached to the station and accessible up further towards Phibsborough.

I am not seeing any obvious dates here...

The rolling stock is towards the later end of the date range, I think.

The next photo features an Honoria McBride's establishment; She's there in 1901, gone by 1911.

The Commercial Car Company was later known as Commer , and the brand name survived into the 1970s as part of Humber and then Rootes.
