Author's Maxwell Hundleby and Rainer Strasheim include a different view of this MkIV Female in their book The German A7V tank & The Captured British Mark IV Tanks of World War I. The caption states this was tank number 4, of 11. Abteilung and was blown up by her crew on 15 July 1918. This occurred near Souain, ESE of Reims. What appears to be a dead crewman seems at odds with the above account of it's fate, perhaps. Another captured Mk IV:
