Adolf Ladenburg was one of the founders of Ladenburg Thalmann, a financial services company (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ladenburg_Thalmann). There's a really intriguing reflection of the studio or location of where this was taken on the left side of her breastplate, It looks like a long hall or railway station.

A Celtic triune or triad is possibility perhaps, or the mythic or later empire idea of 'Britannia' holding a trident?
