    Oddly, as Eibhlín Nic Aonguis in the 1901 census, the only one in the household recorded as Gaeilge.

    Record of her death says Evelyn Nicholls, both names wrong, presumably the Jams O'Donnell effect.

Quinlan can't have been in business much before this (Unless he inherited the business from another J, I suppose - his mother's still on the premises as head of family).

    It certainly looks like it, and it doesn't appear to be any of the other big houses byside the Boyne or the BlackWater out as far as Trim, Kells or Slane. I'm assuming the slope on the garden means it's beside a river - where else would you put a mansion?
