The Church spire is from 1899 says Archiseek. The NIAH dates most of this street to 1810-1840, no help.

From the NIAH page on the church: McCarthy died in 1884 and Ashlin worked on the church between 1887-1893, his various work includes designing the tower and spire of the church So the Spire was definitely not up in 1887, and definitely up in 1899.

Michael O Callaghan won the four mile flat championship from M. Hourigan Ballingarry 2nd. On the last lap the Banteer man won going exceedingly strong and finished up with plenty to spare. Amid much excitement he received a standing ovation. Arthur O Sullivan won the mile championship from R. Barry Glanworth So looks like your 1909 is correct I would suggest August 1909
