    Well, I'd have to be honest and say my eye is drawn more to the street lighting! There's two of the famous 1930s concrete Sofrapel columns, made in France, with Holophane lanterns; and the shop facade has two GEC 'Clearmain' lanterns that must have very fully illuminated that pavement!

    I see Sat 9th November on one poster. (edited) Could the Yes gag be a reference to the EEC referendum? It was opposed by Labour (Dr. Noel Browne was a Labour TD at the time). Maybe not - that date was a Sat in 1968 and then 1974.
