Per this IT article, there was a dig to look for Emmet's grave at St Peters in Aungier St in 1903: Irish Times

A letter to Freeman's Journal on 12th July 1905 from William H Grattan Flood begins:

The recent interesting find of portion of the slab of the Emmet family vault in St. Peter's Church, Dublin, has suggested the query as to who was Catherine Emmet, whose name appears upon the slab?

and concludes:

Much credit is due to Mr Fallon and Mr D A Quaid for their untiring search in St Peter's.

So is this Mr Fallon Fuller or Mr Quaid? or Mr Grattan Flood?

Here's the book written by D. A. Quaid on the subject of Robert Emmet's grave.

Judging by the picture on his wikipedia entry it's not W'H Grattan Flood.

A very short bio including this photo, via Westmeath Libraries Wikipedia is a bit thin - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Keegan_Casey The "Leo" nickname was evidently a nom de plume when he had his first work published aged 16, according to this Trove 1890 article, which has a few other gems. He died aged 23 in 1870 and 50,000 people attended his funeral - trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/164858030

In the trove article, it mentions the Mation newspaper . . . John Mitchel, one of the 13 young Irelanders was the editor/maybe owner, I don't exactly recall.

Resemblance of Grand Parade, Cork. Many of the building have gone, to be sure.

I think it’s Grand Parade in Cork. The buildings seem to match with those about halfway on the left here, including the plumbing sign.

There is also a note in the catalogue: "In envelope with NPA POLF193 and NPA POLF194 inscribed with "? Terence McSwiney fuenral" and "Dev Speech Graveside of ?" on cover. Includes stamp on interior with manuscript note "MS Autograph / Name Grattan Henry / to David La touche Date 6 Aug 1778"." So it may be Terence McSwiney's funeral.

Just sticking in my two cents here, Sharon Corbet. Thousands lined the procession route in Cork, but I don't think that this size or type of crowd gathering was allowed for Terence MacSwiney's funeral itself...
