I don't think that's Moore Lane. That's a load of building fronts and a big swanky footpath. Moore Lane is a mews.

derangedlemur If that is the truth, and I don't doubt it, wouldn't the 1910 Parnell Monument be in the background? Streetview - goo.gl/maps/WhqL2adij512

beachcomber australia I'm not sure if it's looking along Parnell Street or along Moore Street. It's also massively over-exposed where the monument would be, so it could well be there.

Here's where the factory was OSI Map, but according to their website that was after 1902: 1865 - Business formed by Messrs Kapp & Peterson. - The original Peterson Factory was in King Street – it backed onto 55 Grafton Street. 1902 - The factory moved to 113 St. Stephens Green.

derangedlemur The shop is now on Nassau St. under the Peterson name only. Just after the Easter Rising they were on Bachelor's Walk too.

Wonder if some of these 1901 Tobacco Pipe Makers/Finishers are in this photograph... All 3 of the O'Connor family from Cornmarket were Tobacco Pipe Makers.
