There is a photo album of "ca. 1905" -
"The album is a photographic record (ca. 1905) of the studio of sculptor and painter Herbert Ward (1863-1919) documenting his sculptures of African tribesmen and women and the interior of his studio which was filled with African tribal artifacts. Ward was born in London but spent much of his life in Paris. The focus of his collection and sculptural work was the result of his expedition to central Africa with Sir Henry Morton Stanley (1841-1904) in 1887."
