This is looking north west at the front entrance of the house. The milk house is just out of the picture to the left. There was one large room across the front with the dining table to the right against the front wall, a hutch straight ahead to the right of the steps to upstairs, a large cast stove with a wood burning section and water reservoir across the room to and to the right of the hutch against the center dividing wall, and a cot against the far right (north) wall by the door to the main floor back bedroom. There was a base unit with the large bucket we would put the drinking water from the well in behind the entry door with a window next to it looking south across the fields - us kids would go pump the water. There was a metal ladle there with it. Wallace slept there on the cot with the dogs nearby; and Grandpa was in the room to the back where the old double pedal organ was, in his bed. The steps to upstairs was on the left side of the kitchen - south side. It led to a large room across the back with two bedrooms across the front of the house upstairs. The upstairs was really not used much after Grandma died.

Quite fearsome looking and I love those variable pitch propellers!

Very wide-angle lens to get the rear view of the propellor.

The iconic P-40's ‘Flying Tiger’s’ sharks mouth looks just as dreaded on the P-51.
