"Crane Wilbur (November 17, 1886 – October 18, 1973) was an American writer, actor and director for stage, radio and screen. He was born in Athens, New York. Wilbur is best remembered for playing Harry Marvin in The Perils of Pauline. He died in Toluca Lake, California." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crane_Wilbur Wilbur's career was a long one, but it's possible this photo is from the mid-20's and pictured with him is his second wife, actress Suzanne Caubet (misspelled as Caubert in his IMDB entry). They were married from 4 April 1922 - 6 January 1928, according to IMDB. www.imdb.com/name/nm0928108/bio. She resembles this picture of Caubet and others: historicalzg.piwigo.com/picture?/19428/search/1150 . A New York Times article has Wilbur and Caubet leaving for Europe aboard the liner Lafayette on 6/23/23. select.nytimes.com/gst/abstract.html?res=FB0612F83D5C1673...
