US Navy ships in Trepassey Bay, Newfoundland there to support the Curtiss NC flying boats' transatlantic attempt. They are from front to back, (still in wartime dazzle camouflage) the tanker USS Hisko (ID-1953), USS Upshur (DD-144) (adjacent to Hisko), USS Aroostook (ID-1256), and USS Prairie (AD-5). I'm curious if the date on this (marked as 1915) is correct, as the online sources on the USS Upshur (DD-144) all say it was built in 1918, and another source with this photo says it was taken in 1918 too. www.navsource.org/archives/05/144.htm
